The Many Levels of My Twist-Out!

I thought it would be fun to show the progression of my fro since so many people loved it! Let me first let everyone know I do MINIMAL work to my hair because I'm lazy. Lol For the past few weeks, I've only used Shea butter on my hair. I melt it down, add oils, & then whip it until it's soft. If you'd like a demo, just ask. So, about this hair of mine…

1. I put mini two-strand twists in my hair and they were in for almost three weeks. Again.. I only used shea butter.

2. The twist out. I simply untwisted my hair.

3. I began to run my hands through my hair to fluff it up. I also began pulling it to stretch it. I took a wide tooth comb and pulled up only from the root for added volume. I then took the blow dryer and stretched my hair by grabbing and focusing the dryer on sections all over my head. Not precisely, but messily. LOL (If that makes sense...lol)

4. I woke up this day and ran my hands through my hair with shea butter. At this point my roots are beginning to shrink to my scalp because I sweat all the time. LOL

5. Same day as number 4, I decided I wanted some added volume. I then took the blow dryer and stretched the top of my hair. This time, precisely focusing on one section of my hair. Leaving the sides and back in its shrunken state. Grabbing smaller sections, I pulled my hair and focused the blow dryer at the root and along the sectioned hair for about 5 seconds on each section. Fluff with my fingers and VOLIÀ!

I hope you gained something from this. If you have questions.... Just ask! BUT, if you ask something I've mentioned in this post.... Well, let's just say reading is fundamental. LOL Enjoy!!
